A reconstructed statue of Amenhotep III has been unveiled at the Western end of his temple. For several weeks, a wooden scaffolding was around it, as pieces of the broken statue were put together and restored. It's quite an impressive statue as you can see.

On the subject of Amenhotep's temple, the National Geographic Magazine has published photos of the statue of Tiye which was announced a week or so ago.
